Spring Sunday Pasture Walking Workshop Series
Got pasture? Want pasture? Got livestock? Want livestock?
Join us at The Homeplace for our Spring walking workshops at the ground level.
We’ll walk and talk in the pastures. I’ll discuss how I approach soil fertility, grazing, fencing, cow/calf management, planting vs. latent seed bank, incorporating pasture-raised poultry, shade and edge environments, and more all in the context of the changing grazing season. We might even get into controversial topics like keeping bulls and cows with horns!
We have almost a decade of experience managing pasture with cows and chickens. We know a lot but we learned a good bit by trial and error. We still try new things each year. I’d love to pass those experiences along to you.
Attend one workshop or get $15 off for the whole series. The entire series is intended to show you how we make adaptive decisions as seasons change. I’ll leave time for some Q&A each week as well.
$20/person per walk or $85 for the series of five walks.
